At Gathering Branch, we believe in the quiet beauty of the homestead. Our bakery and woodworking shop are more than just a place; they are a celebration of the gifts the Lord has given us and the hands that tend to it. We source our ingredients from our own beehives, our own gardens, local growers with organic practices and craft each piece with a focus on quality and soul. Every loaf we bake, every food selection and every woodworking item we build is a tribute to the simple, timeless art of homemaking.

WHERE DID WE BEGIN?

We started our homestead caring and maintaining bees.  The harvest of honey was too delicious to keep to ourselves and with an over abundance more than what we could consume, we began selling our honey.  Over time we learned the craft of apiary, caring for bees, as well as, how to extract and bottle honey themselves.

With the desire to sell honey, we were able to increase our usage of the honey and beeswax by expanding their product line to beeswax candles, lip balm, tallow, soap, scrubs and more.  We were also able to increase our food products with the use of the honey in our products such as in sourdough bread, cookies and granola.
